Mr. Swain has performed over one thousand forensic inspections of residential and commercial buildings to determine cause and extent of damage resulting from wind, hail, fire, tornadoes, earthquakes, construction defects, explosions, vehicle impacts, soil movement, and catastrophes such as Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Florence, and Hurricane Michael. As a result of this work, Mr. Swain has been consulted as an expert witness for multiple legal cases involving cause/extent of damage and construction defects.
